There is an amazing amount of resources on the web for Formula One information. It is now to the point where you can you can find the most minuscule bit of information about the sport. Not only that, there is probably a blog or a website dedicated to giving their opinion about it.
Here are some blogs, news sites, and podcasts that I listen to and enjoy.
F1 news sites worth their salt:
Autosport.com - The "old gray lady" of motorsports journalism.
Grand Prix.com - Joe Saward and company' website exclusively covering Formula One.
Speed.com - Once you get past all the NASCAR stuff, you actual see a decent Formula One section at Speed TV website, especially their on-line videos. Too bad they can't transfer that level of coverage to the TV screen.
Racecar Engineering - A great source for the more technical fans out there. Always a lot of interesting stuff. I wish I could afford a subscription.
Blogs by the professionals:
Joe Saward’s Grand Prix - Former Autosports editor and freelance F1 journalist where he gives us a behind the scenes look at being a F1 journalist.
Formula One: A view from the Paddock - Finally, an American media outlet that carries a decent F1 journalist. The New York Times has signed Brad Spurgeon to write an F1 blog for the old gray lady on-line.
Blogs by the fans, for the fans:
Sidepodcast.com - Christine and Mr. C' Formula One blog, podcasts, videos, and lots and lots of fun. If I am not here on the site I am usually at this site.
F1-Fanatic - Keith Coltrane' great Formula One blog.
F1 Rejects -A humorous take on the lesser know characters of Formula One.
F1 Podcasts of note:
F1Minute - Produced by the same Christine and "me" of sidepodcast, F1 Minute is a day-to-day 60 second update of what is going on in Formula One.
F1 Digest from Sidepodcast - The podcast from Sidepodcast which covers all the latest happenings in Formula One.
F1 Rejects Podcast- A beautiful tribute to mediocrity. F1 Rejects has a rather humorous and informative take on the Formula One world.
Midweek Motorsports- Join John Hindhaugh and guests Wednesday evenings at 8pm for Midweek Motorsport, a quirky magazine show looking at all aspects of world motorsport. As well as interviews with the world's top drivers, the week's motorsport news is analysed by a team of experts including F1 correspondent Nick Daman and North America correspondent Declan Brennan.
AT&T Williams F1 Podcast - The official podcast of the AT&T Williams F1 team.
Renault F1 team Podcast - The offical podcast of the Renault F1 team.
Checkered Flag Podcast - The F1 podcast from BBC' Five Live with David Croft and Anthony Davidson. Probably the best F1 tag team from a media organization.
Autosports Podcast - Comes out once in a blue moon. Not bad when it does.
